Random video game news... RNG is your friend!

I don't mind? -
It is a game in the category "Good idea for a game - no experience how to make a good game". I can see how one would not enjoy the gameplay. I played through it and enjoyed the different book settings similar to how I enjoyed the concept of entering different games in Gamedec. And I thought the moral aspect of messing up the lives of fictional characters for personal gain was nice. Obviously I played a do-gooder. I am used to not liking the protagonist

I finally played the dlc for Saints Row. The Heist has a very fun intro mission. And then you get two more missions and the dlc is over and wtf where is the content? The dumb fly through rings event that already wasn't enjoyable in saints row 4? Murder Circus is basically Moxxys dlc from the original Borderlands, just that you play NPCs instead of your own character. The dlc with the larp content is really good though.

Is it too much to ask for them to do XCOM3 now that Firaxis is unlikely to do it... Imagine an XCOM game where the plot isn't pants and you don't have to stop playing before the final mission so you don't have the terrible plot resolution. -

Financially an Azeroth open world RPG would make sense. But as I don't trust the gaming industry, I'd be less surprised with a Tony Hawks 4X "civ killer". -
I actually enjoyed that one.

Thank you. With Skyrim the problem was that when you enter a general area it checks if an event triggers. In FO:NV that would for example have been the check if Caesar's Legion sent a deathsquad after you or a trader caravan walking past or an escaped slave running towards you with their explosive collar. If you just walk around, you may not even notice the events in Bethesda games as they can spawn two hills over yonder and the npc could run into a minefield or a monster. But when you fast travel it will spawn in your point of arrival. And if you travel into a town, there is a limit on the events in the event table it can pick from - for Skyrim that would mean that after scripted events for the town are done, if you don't use dawnguard to add vampire attacks at night, there only was one event to trigger for most towns: dragon attack. So if you fast travel a LOT, like I do, that would mean half a dozen dragon attacks in one play session. If he gets too annoying, some modder may mod him out As long as bonfires aren't too limited in whatever resource you need to do bonfire stuff, I don't mind lighting bonfires when I just want to rest. I do believe devs in general have not understood that when people want to rest, they want to do just that and not be messed with all the time. I am low on health, I want to have my character sleep, heal and go back to enjoying the game - interrupt me and you prevent me from doing the last step: enjoying the game. In Tainted Grail I only did that Bonfire at the very end of the demo, so didn't see how it works really.

What they said was: Will there be another WH40K CRPG? Dark Heresy, Black Crusade, Only War? If we would be making another CRPG in 40k universe, these all definitely sound like they'd have a great potential. We have a number of reveals planned for this year, where we will tell you guys what to expect next. Stay tuned! That was pretty much a conformation of Dark Heresy, since for other, similar questions (will you do shadowrun) they clearly said no. When you get asked will you do A,B,C and you always answer no, and for D you answer "there will be an announcement later this year" that is pretty much a yes. -

Very un-exciting leveling up. Very unbalanced combat. -

The irony: We are remastering the original game but won't change things because we don't want to fix something that isn't broken - they say after making two sequels that changed everything that wasn't broken. -

copy pasting: Starting May 19, Warhammer 40K: Armageddon, Sanctus Reach, and their DLCs will no longer be available for purchase on Valve's platform. However, according to announcements posted on Steam, you'll still be able to purchase them on GOG in their complete DRM-free versions, even after the delisting. -

At this rate their next release will be Elder Scrolls IX Remastered, because why not just skip ahead to where the money is? -

Oh, why can't you simply be happy it isn't a mutalisk aerobic flight simulator for the Wii, where you have to use those sticks to flap your arms/wings?
